e and couple of friends from Couchsurfing arranged a touring day with car and bikes start from one point in the south and ended up in north part. We're having lunch together firstly, (trying) to take pictures of all the beautiful sites on the way, and enjoying our private beach (cause hardly met with anyone else in that beach!)
Leaved early in the morning to Kata beach, another side of Phuket island. But I got lost (again!) but I was constantly having these peoples helped me find the place. This time, I met this French guy accidentally in the internet cafe when I was searching for the right address, and he told me to get into his car and his gonna take me there. How nice! He was married with Thai girl a long time ago and they were there for vacation, so he speaks very good Thai (phasa Thai :-) when asking for direction. Cool !
My room-mate in this guesthouse was Katharina, she's from Berlin, Germany. And we shared stories about places we want to go (or have been there...) Her stories about Portugal makes me wanna go there too ! Probably I would .... *hmmmmh*
My 1st day in Thai and it was raining very hard when I arrived at the bus station in the town. Me and the other girl from Canada (Jen) were waiting there for several minutes until we could walked and looking our map for a hostel name Phuket Backpacker. Apparently it was very famous hostel in the town, and nice place too!
The room is very clean, there's a big LCD TV downstair where we could watch DVD and free internet access for all. The mixed dormitory room (contains of 4 bunk-beds) costs 200b/ night. They also have comprehensive informations about tour / boat trip to the islands around Phuket.

Phuket Backpacker
165 Ranong rd. Maung T. Thaladyai
right in front of Thai Airways office, not very far from the market
(if you take a songthaew, it will cost 10b from the bus station to the place.)
I would definitely coming back for this place ! Highly recommended !

My room-mate (besides Jen, of course) was Patrick, 19 y.o guy from Manchester, England. We're having conversation til very late at night and he showed us pictures from his trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. It was sooooo amazing ....
Me and Jen also met up and having dinner with another friend (from Couchsurfing) Carlos, he's from Ekuador but currently staying in Phuket for studying. Thanks Carlos ! It was a very nice dinner, my 1st time real Pad-Thai and only cost me 35b :-)
